City Care is a leading provider of construction, maintenance and management services across New Zealand’s infrastructure and amenity assets. We work around the clock developing and taking care of our nation’s open and green spaces, waterways and coastal areas, buildings and public facilities, roading networks and water, wastewater and stormwater networks.

Our company operates across four distinct sectors of the national contracting market: Water and Wastewater, Parks, Facilities Management and Construction. 

Our clients include local and central government authorities and major owners of infrastructure and assets including educational institutions and commercial businesses. We also undertake work for other contracting companies and private individuals.

We employ over 1,100 staff across 15 operational branches throughout the North and South Islands. 

City Care is a major partner in the rebuilding of Christchurch’s infrastructure. City Care joined four other contractors, the New Zealand Transit Authority, Christchurch City Council and the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (CERA) to sign an Interim Alliance Agreement (IAA) for the rebuild of Christchurch. The Alliance which includes City Care will be responsible for restoring Christchurch's roads, sewerage system, water supply pipes and parks which were damaged in the September and February earthquakes.
